WestVETS offers comfort clipping for your dog and cat. As well as the potential aesthetic appeal, clipping can be an essential component to coat management and tick control in some dogs and cats. It can also aid in helping prevent heat exhaustion in our furrier family pets during the warmer months. Sedation is also offered to facilitate clipping of pets that are reluctant to part with their furry locks.

WestVETS offers a variety of bathing options ranging from standard baths to medicated baths. Hydrobaths have a specially designed recirculation pump which produces a high-volume mix of water and shampoo powerful enough to penetrate the thickest of coats, yet gentle enough to massage the skin. With warm water on tap in our covered hydrobath area, baths can be performed all year round and can either be performed by one of our nurses or by yourself. It is the best way to avoid a stinky dog and/or a messy bathroom.
