Small Animal Veterinarian

Our small animal clinic in Anstead and Marburg are well-equipped and handles everything from preventative health to complex surgery and diagnostics.
The role involves:
  • Consulting and managing small animal medical cases
  • Performing routine and advanced surgical procedures
  • Working with a supportive nursing team and senior veterinarians
  • Using in-house diagnostics (bloods, digital X-ray, ultrasound)
  • Providing exceptional client education and follow-up

Equine Veterinarian

Our Anstead clinic is a fully equipped equine hospital and in-patient facilities, surgical theatre, and a team of experienced professionals managing both hospitalised and ambulatory cases. The case load is varied and includes performance horses, pleasure horses, and emergencies. You will work alongside equine surgeons and medical specialists and gain exposure to a wide range of cases including orthopaedics, medicine, and sports horse work.

Our Marburg clinic functions as both an ambulatory service base and an active equine reproduction centre. During the breeding season, this site is buzzing with mare and stallion work, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, and OPU and ICSI work.
The role involves:
  • Ambulatory first opinion practice with emphasis on performance dentistry and preventative health
  • Lameness consults
  • Primary sport horse and geriatric consults
  • Emergencies consisting of colic, chokes, ophthalmology, lacerations etc.
  • Small ruminant caseload dependant on applicants comfort level
  • After hours consists of hospital and ambulatory cases
  • Access to endoscopy, digital radiography, ultrasound, gastroscopy, Equinosis lameness locator, dynamic endoscopy
  • Working alongside experienced equine nurses and fellow equine vets
  • Opportunities to develop a niche area of interest
Ideal for vets who:
  • Are confident working independently in the field and love the rhythm and variety of equine work.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience or a recent internship in equine veterinary practice
  • Looking for long-term fulfilment with a diverse caseload, and a desire for professional development with mentorship in surgical, medical, reproductive, and lameness cases.
  • Strong communications skills, attention to detail, and a passion for high-quality veterinary care
  • Must thrive in a collaborative environment with like-minded professionals
  • Must hold a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Queensland

Mixed Practice Veterinarian

Enjoy the best of both worlds. Our mixed practice vets handle a blend of companion animal consults and surgery, along with ambulatory and in-hospital equine work.
The role involves:
  • Adapting to a diverse daily caseload across two species groups
  • Working closely with a strong team of nurses and fellow vets
  • Building skills across small animal medicine, equine care, and diagnostics
  • Contributing to a shared on-call rotation (equine-focused)

Enjoy variety, are eager to learn and grow, and want to keep their skills across multiple species sharp.
