We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Floor Manager to lead and support our nursing and veterinary teams. Reporting to the Head Clinical Manager, this key leadership role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day clinical operations, maintaining high standards of patient care, and fostering a positive, supportive working environment.
This hands-on leadership role includes both surgical and hospital nursing, as well as training, mentoring, and supporting junior staff.

• Oversee daily floor operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
• Act as the senior nursing presence on the floor, supporting clinical decision-making and workflow prioritisation
• Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team in a busy clinical environment
• Maintain and uphold clinical, hygiene, safety, and WHS standards
• Perform surgical nursing duties, including patient preparation, anaesthetic monitoring, and recovery
• Manage hospital nursing care, including inpatient monitoring, medication administration, and nursing support
• Uphold, educate, and promote gold standard practices across the team
• Promote a culture consistent with our core values
• Use Vision VPM software to manage patient records and workflows
• Support diagnostics through IDEXX in-house laboratory testing

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior nursing or supervisory role
• Strong experience in both surgical and hospital nursing
• Comfortable using Vision VPM software and working with an in-house IDEXX laboratory
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Calm, confident, and effective under pressure
• Passionate about delivering high standards of patient care and supporting team wellbeing
• Confident in decision-making and problem-solving within a clinical setting

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, hardworking, responsible and experienced horse person to join our team.  The role involves feeding and stable management, monitoring and reporting on the condition of patients, grooming, yard maintenance, and occasionally assisting with patient treatments.

Successful applicants must have the ability to work unsupervised and have good communication skills. Must be available to work Monday – Friday (mornings and afternoons) with weekend work available.
